The Tradescantia zebrina is a sight to behold. Its leaves are alternating purple and gray-green. Each leaf is distributed slightly differently with the ratio of lilac and green. When this Tradescantia is given a nice sunny spot, a pink glow also becomes visible on the green parts of its leaves.

At first glance it looks a bit fragile, but if you feel the leaves, you will notice that the leaves can withstand much more than they let on. In spring to autumn, the Tradescantia zebrina can display beautiful pink flowers emanating from the center of the heart of the succulent.

If the Tradescantia zebrina is large enough, it will become a hanging succulent instead of a standing succulent. Super fun to combine in a hanging pot for a colorful and cheerful interior.
