Information

The Huernia hystrix subs. parvula is a distinct Huernia species that occurs naturally in a small area in the southeast of the South African province of KwaZulu-Natal. The Huernia hystrix subs grows here. parvula in open rocky plains, often unprotected from the sun.

The Huernia hystrix subs. parvula produces small stems of 3-6 cm high. These have a green color and get a red-pink glow in the sun. The Huernia hystrix subs. parvula branches regularly from the sides of the stems. This will ultimately give you a nice cluster of Huernia hystrix subs. parvula plants.

The Huernia hystrix subs. parvula appear at the end of summer and in autumn when the plant is happy with you. They grow from the sides of the plant on a small stem and grow to 3-5 cm tall. The flowers have a light color and often five petals. Small thick yellow hairs grow on the petals and a pattern of red dots is visible.
