The Aeonium arboreum var. atropurpureum ''SCHWARZKOPF'' is a beautiful Aeonium species. This variant of the Aeonium Arboreum produces beautiful black leaves. The pigment in the leaves of the Aeonium arboreum var. atropurpureum ''SCHWARZKOPF'' responds to sunlight. The more sun this Aeonium gets, the blacker its leaves become. In addition to the black color, the leaves also have a dark red glow.
