The Aeonium Black Copper is a beautifully colored succulent plant species. This Aeonium was created by breeding Aeonium velvet plants and is a form that you rarely encounter.

The Aeonium Black Copper makes beautiful elongated thin leaves with a pointed end. The leaves have an intense red-pink color. with a dark stripe in the middle. When the Aeonium Black Copper gets older, it starts to form small stems from which new rosettes grow. Eventually the Aeonium Black Copper reaches a height of 30 cm.

Depending on the season, the color of its leaves changes. The red-pink color is especially visible in spring and summer. In winter, a light green glow appears. This has to do with the sun intensity in this period. So give the Aeonium Black Copper a nice sunny spot so that it stays beautiful in color.

In very warm summers or on old plants a flower can occur. The head of this Aeonium then changes into elongated stems with lots of small yellow flowers on it.
