The Aeonium Phoenix Flame is a beautiful succulent. Its name Phoenix Flame truly lives up to its name. In spring and summer, when the intensity of the sun increases, its leaves get a beautiful orange-red glow.

The aeonium phoenix flame, like other Aeonium species, makes compact rosettes that grow on a trunk. From the trunk it also makes new side shoots. This way you get a small bush after a while.

The orange colour does not last all year. In autumn and winter the leaves turn green from the inside out. Also the new growth in the heart of the plant is fresh green at first. Later it gets the orange red colour from the sun.
