The Cereus peruvianus is originally a columnar cactus. The Cereus peruvianus monstrosus has a completely different growth pattern. Due to the monstrous growth, this cactus makes random shapes and grows in all directions. This gives you unique shapes and no plant is the same.

The Cereus peruvianus monstrosus blue form has a beautiful blue glow about it. Small reddish brown spines grow randomly from white woolly areoles.

When this cactus is about 1 meter high it can start to flower. Large white flowers appear that spread a delicious sweet scent. If the flowers are fertilized, large pink fruits develop.
