Information

The Ceropegia dichotoma is a beautiful succulent plant. This occurs naturally on the Canary Islands. Here it grows in sunny places, often between granite rocks.

The Ceropegia dichotoma produces many thin green-gray stems that grow straight up. Clear segments are visible on the stems. These have different heights and often represent one growth period. The new growth of its stem often has a dark green color. Later the gray glow over it becomes visible. This is caused by a white-gray wax layer that forms on the stems. This layer protects the plant against too much evaporation of moisture from its stem.

The Ceropegia dichotoma blooms here in the spring. Her characteristic lantern-shaped flowers grow from the side of the stem. The flowers have a light yellow color.
