Information

Please note before you buy: The stems of this cactus are very fragile, and parts/side branches can easily break off during transport. We pack these cacti as carefully as possible. However, it is possible that a few stems may break off during transport. You can repot these after about a week of drying. They will then continue to grow.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii is a unique hanging cactus with beautiful flowers. In the wild, this cactus grows in Bolivia, near the border with Argentina, in rocky areas. Its stems often drape over rocks and stones.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii produces numerous thin, dark green stems. These stems bear areoles with numerous small, light brown spines. The stems branch out regularly from the sides. This creates a beautiful, hanging cactus over time.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii loves to bloom. If you give it a sunny spot, it will often bloom several times in spring and summer. A gray fuzz initially grows from the sides of the stems, which later develops into a beautiful, large, bright orange flower.
