The Conophytum meyeri is a special miniature plant that is related to the Lithops. Occurs naturally in South Africa. Here this Conophytum grows in the Richtersveld area between the places Kleinsee and Lekkersing. In this area the Conophytum meyeri often grows hidden between small gravel rocks.

The leaves of Conophytum meyeri have a green color with a notch on top that resembles a mouth. A red-purple line is often visible in the width. The Conophytum meyeri changes leaves once a year. The old leaf becomes wrinkled, brown and then cracks open. Her new leaves then grow below.

The Conophytum meyeri will bloom in the fall. Her fine bright yellow flowers grow from the center at the top of the leaf.
