Information

The Conophytum uviforme is a special miniature plant that is related to the Lithops. Occurs naturally in South Africa. Here this Conophytum grows in the Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces. In this area the Conophytum meyeri often grows hidden between small gravel rocks.

The leaves of Conophytum uviforme have a light green color with a notch on top that resembles a mouth. There are also some dark green random lines visible on top. The Conophytum uviforme changes leaves once a year. The old leaf becomes wrinkled, brown and then cracks open. Her new leaves then grow below.

The Conophytum uviforme will bloom in the fall. Her fine white-yellow flowers grow from the center at the top of the leaf.
