The ×Graptoveria 'Mrs Richards' is a beautifully colored succulent. This hybrid was created by Albert Baynes from Shipley in Yorkshire, United Kingdom.

Graptopetalum paraguayense is one of the parents, but the Echeveria species that also contributed to the lineage is unknown. The plant is also sold under the name ×Graptoveria 'Gypsy'.

The ×Graptoveria 'Mrs Richards' forms small, compact rosettes of broad leaves with pastel shades. The plant grows quite quickly and branches out from the base, forming a dense clump over time. The leaves are bluish-green with shades of pink, red, and purple. They are covered with a fine waxy layer.

What's special about this succulent is how beautifully the leaf colors change depending on the light conditions. The color of the leaves becomes more intense in bright light and cooler temperatures, making this plant extra decorative. In darker conditions, the colors are more subdued, but in full light, the pink, red, and purple hues fully emerge.

The ×Graptoveria 'Mrs Richards' blooms in late spring and early summer with bell-shaped flowers on scorpioid cymes. The flowers are yellowish to reddish in color with small scattered red spots, creating a beautiful contrast with the colored foliage.
