The Haworthia cooperi var. truncata is a beautiful green compact Haworthia species. In nature the Haworthia cooperi var. truncata in the Eastern Cape province of South Africa. There, this Haworthia grows on rock slopes in an area northeast of the city of East London.

The Haworthia cooperi var. truncata remains compact and grows into a cluster of up to 15 cm in size. The Haworthia cooperi var. truncata produces many dark green to gray-green leaves that grow upwards. The tops of the leaves are lighter in color. These allow sunlight to pass through at that location so that photosynthesis can take place.

The Haworthia cooperi var. truncata will bloom here in autumn and spring. Then a long flower stem appears from the head of the plant. All green gray bell-shaped flowers grow on this.
