Information

The Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri is a beautiful cactus. In nature this cactus occurs in dry areas in the Mexican states of Queretaro, Hidalgo and Guanajuato.

The Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri has many protruding long tubercles around which its light spines grow. From the main plant this cactus makes many new side shoots. This will give you a nice cluster of these cacti after a while.

The Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri is an easy bloomer. When she is happy with you she does this abundantly in the spring. At the top of the cactus then grow many white-pink flowers.

When Mammillaria crinita subs. painteri overwinters completely dry, they can withstand temperatures down to -7 degrees.

These cacti are shown in bloom in the photo, but are not offered in bloom all year round.
