Information

The Mammillaria spinosissima variegata is a beautiful and unique cactus species. In nature, this cactus occurs in mountainous areas in central Mexico.

The variegata variant originated from breeding and selecting cacti in which the chloroplasts are missing in parts. This gives you beautiful bright yellow to cream-yellow patterns on the cactus. This is in nice contrast with its green color and red-brown spines.

When these Mammillaria spinosissima variegata cacti are happy with you, they will flower in spring and summer. Many small pink flowers will grow between the upper spines.
