The Cylindropuntia fulgida is an Opuntia species that produces cylindrical leaves. This Opuntia is found in the wild in the Mexican states of Sinaloa and Sonora. In nature, the Cylindropuntia fulgida can grow into large trees of 4m. In cultivation, plants of one meter are already considered tall.<!--en--><!--en-->The monstruosa variant of this cactus has a slightly different growth habit. It produces elongated cylindrical stems. The spines grow in random patterns. Due to the monstruosa mutation, this Opuntia Fulgida produces all sorts of unpredictable shapes.
