This Schlumbergera lidcactus, also known as Christmas cactus or Easter cactus, is a tropical plant native to the mountainous coastal regions of Brazil, such as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. In its natural habitat, this beautiful plant grows as an epiphyte on trees and other plants. The Thor® Wild Cactus, a specially developed Schlumbergera hybrid, has been carefully bred to bring out the most beautiful flower colours: white, pink and orange. These varieties are available in pot size 11 cm.

What makes the Thor® Wild Cactus so special is its serrated and rough leaf shape and the more symmetrical flower shape. In addition, it has a long flowering period from October to January, during which it often blooms multiple times. The flower buds appear in large numbers on the tips of the leaves and open into beautiful flowers in vibrant colors. Please note that the color of the buds may differ from the final flower color. For example, orange flowers often start with pink buds. This makes the flowering of the Christmas cactus extra surprising and colorful!
