Information

The Seyrigia Multiflora is a special caudex species that occurs naturally in the south-west of Madagascar. Here this plant does not grow in full sun, but often in the shelter of other plant species.

The Seyrigia Multiflora consists of two characteristic parts. Her white-gray colored stems are visible above the ground. These grow to about 40 cm in length and are covered with fluffy little hairs. Her root is underground. It looks a bit like a potato and uses this plant to store a lot of water to get through periods of drought.

The Seyrigia Multiflora usually blooms in the summer in our country. Her small white flowers grow from the side of the trunks. This species often produces many flowers. This is why it has also been given the second name multiflora.
