The Sulcorebutia breviflora is a beautiful and small cactus species. In nature, this cactus occurs in Bolivia. Here the Sulcorebutia breviflora grows on rock slopes and plains at an altitude of 2000-3000 meters.

The Sulcorebutia breviflora has a dark green color with many small light brown spines. This cactus likes to produce many new side shoots. Over time, it forms a beautiful full cluster of 10-15 cm in diameter.

The Sulcorebutia breviflora is an easy bloomer and often does so profusely. The flowering period is in spring and summer. Many yellow to orange-yellow flowers appear around the top of the cactus.
