The Trichocereus Bridgesii is a beautiful, colorful columnar cactus native to Bolivia. Here, this columnar cactus naturally grows high in the Andes mountains. Trichocereus Bridgesii is often used in Bolivia as a hedge plant to provide protection against unwanted guests. As an intruder, you don't easily walk through an entire hedge of spiky cacti. In addition, this columnar cactus has a long tradition of use in Bolivia. According to ancient traditions, this cactus is said to have a cleansing effect on the body, mind, and soul. Trichocereus Bridgesii is popularly known there as Achuma or Wachuma and is often grown indoors for its powerful and protective spirit.
