The Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis is a beautiful cactus species with a long name. The Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis occurs naturally in the southern United States. Here this cactus grows in a desert-like area.

The Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis has small to no spines. That is why it is added inermis to the name. The Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis is green to dark green in color and has beautiful white areoles on its ribs. This combination gives the Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis her nice looks.

In addition to the nice looks, the flowers of the Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. truly beautiful indeed. They are a combination of orange, red and pink and have a mixed pattern on the petals. The pistil of the flower is green in color and completes the flower.

When this cactus overwinters in completely dry soil, the Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis can tolerate temperatures down to -6 °C.
