Intense sunlight or cooler temperatures enhance the beautiful red-purple color of the Aeonium Mardi Gras. The Aeonium Mardi Gras, like many other Aeonium species, branches on the trunk. New side shoots grow from here. The Aeonium Mardi Gras is a cultivar that originated in America. Due to the combination of many colors of this Aeonium, it is named after the Mardi Gras carnival.
