New in our assortment, baby Hoya plants. They are the outsiders in our cactus and succulent assortment. We already had the Hoya kerri and the Hoya Carnosa compact. So they now have a few friends.

The Hoya carnosa Tricolor is a beautiful Hoya species. It makes wide elongated leaves. Parts of its leaves do not have chloroplasts. These have a yellow to cream yellow color. The parts with chloroplasts have a dark green color. New growth in this Hoya often has a light pink color. This combination of colors has given this carnosa the name tricolor. The leaves grow on sturdy stems, also called tendrils.

When the Hoya carnosa Tricolor is happy with you, it can flower in the winter and early spring. From its stems between the leaves, its reddish-brown flowers grow. Its flowers produce a slightly sweet scent.
