Sulcorebutia rauschii is a beautiful miniature cactus species native to Sucre, Chuquisaca, Bolivia.

Sulcorebutia rauschii is a small cactus species that produces many new offsets over time, forming attractive clusters.

This cactus is characterized by its very short, black spines, which grow in a herringbone pattern. Its stems are small, measuring just 2 to 4 cm in height and 3 to 5 cm in diameter. They are covered with flat, dark green tubercles.

Sulcorebutia rauschii blooms in late spring. Its flowers are deep magenta with a brighter center. They often appear in clusters along the sides of the cactus. It is a true delight to see this cactus in bloom.
