Information

The Agave Attenuata is a beautiful succulent species. In nature, this Agave occurs in Mexico. Here this Agave grows in dry areas on rock slopes up to an altitude of 1200 to 2500 meters.

The Agave Attenuata produces beautiful large elongated leaves with a fresh green color. Unlike most Agave species, the Agave Attenuata does not have spines. The Agave Attenuata often produces many new leaves quickly during the growth period. The leaves at the bottom of the plant then dry. These are old leaves and due to this growth habit, the Agave Attenuata eventually grows on a trunk. This trunk can grow up to 1 meter high.

Like any other Agave plant, the Agave Attenuata produces a large flower stem at the end of its life. This can grow up to 3.5 meters high. Clusters of green-yellow flowers grow on the flower stem.
