The Agave potatorum cv. Shoji-Raijin is a beautiful dwarf agave. This hybrid does not come from nature but was created through breeding in a nursery in Japan. The Agave potatorum cv. Shoji-Raijin often does not grow larger than 10 cm in diameter.

The Agave potatorum cv. Shoji-Raijin has a beautiful green-gray to blue-green color. Its leaves are compact and have one central spine and several smaller spines next to it. The spines are dark brown in color. When the Agave potatorum cv. Shoji-Raijin has a diameter of 5-6 cm, it often propagates by forming new side shoots. These grow from the side of the main plant. This way you get beautiful clusters of this beautiful agave.
