Information

The Aloe peglerae is a beautiful succulent species that occurs naturally in the Magalies Mountains in South Africa. Here this Aloe grows on sunny rock slopes.

The leaves of the Aloe peglerae have a beautiful blue-gray color. In young plants, the spines along the edges of the leaves have a light color. Later these become reddish brown in color. When the plants are young, the leaves first grow in pairs opposite each other. Later these will grow wider and you will get a beautiful rosette shape. The Aloe peglerae is an average grower and remains compact. After many years, this plant can grow into a rosette of 30-40 cm high and wide.

The Aloe peglerae is an easy bloomer. She mainly does this at the end of summer and in autumn. A flower stem with many orange-red bell-shaped flowers appears from the rosette. In nature, these flowers are pollinated by small birds, bees and the wind.
