Information

Please note before you buy: The stems of this cactus are very fragile and parts/side branches can easily break off during transport. We pack these cacti as well as possible. However, it is possible that some stems break off during transport. You can repot these after drying for about 1 week. They will then continue to grow from spring onwards.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii is a special hanging cactus with beautiful flowers. In nature, this cactus occurs in Bolivia, near the border with Argentina. Here it grows in rocky areas. The stems often lie over rocks and stones.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii makes many thin dark green stems. On these are its areoles with many small light brown spines. From the sides the stems regularly make branches. This way you get a beautiful hanging cactus after a while.

The Chamaecereus luisramirezii loves to flower. If you give it a sunny spot, it will often flower several times in the spring and summer. A gray fluff first grows from the sides of the stems, which later grows into a beautiful large bright orange flower.
