Information

The Cotyledon tomentosa ladysmithiensis is a beautiful succulent species that occurs naturally in South Africa. The Cotyledon tomentosa ladysmithiensis grows here near the towns of Ladismith and Laingsburg.

The Cotyledon tomentosa ladysmithiensis has beautiful flat leaves with small curves at the ends. This makes the leaves of this succulent plant resemble a duck's foot or hogweed. The tips of the leaves turn reddish brown in summer with sufficient sunlight. The Cotyledon tomentosa ladysmithiensis will bloom here in the autumn. A small flower stem grows from the top of the plant with bell-shaped orange-yellow flowers attached to it.

The green stripes variant of the Cotyledon tomentosa ladysmithiensis has light green stripes in the leaves. Not every magazine has this. The plant sometimes alternates completely green leaves and leaves with light stripes.
