Information
The Echinocereus viridiflorus subs. Chloranthus is a beautiful compact cactus species that occurs naturally in the States of Texas and New Mexico and in northern Mexico.
The Echinocereus viridiflorus subs. chloranthus has a dark green color with striking spines. The spines have a white color at the beginning where they emerge from the cactus and turn reddish brown towards the end. The Echinocereus viridiflorus subs. Chloranthus is a slow grower and eventually grows to a height of 25 cm with a diameter of 6-9 cm. The Echinocereus viridiflorus subs remains long. Chloranthus is a solitary cactus, but when this cactus gets older it will occasionally form a side shoot. This way, after many years you will get a beautiful cluster of these cacti.
