The Euphorbia mayurnathanii variegata is a pearl of a Euphorbia. This form is rarely encountered and is rarely offered.

The normal Euphorbia mayurnathanii occurs in nature at the Palghat mountain pass in India. Unfortunately, it has become extinct here in nature. But fortunately, it still occurs in culture and is cultivated. This beautiful growth form has arisen by breeding plants that lacked chloroplasts on parts of the trunks.

The Euphorbia mayurnathanii variegata has a fresh green colour that alternates with randomly growing yellow patterns. The stems have 4 to 5 ribs with protruding tubercles. On these grow her dark brown small spines that grow in a pair opposite each other. A small round leaf grows between the spines. This grows with the new growth and after a while it dries up again. From the side this Euphorbia branches with side arms so that you get a beautiful shrub shape.

The Euphorbia mayurnathanii variegata blooms in our country in the fall. Between the two spikes grow its small yellow flowers. These grow mainly on the upper part of the plant.
