The Graptopetalum Chocolate is a special succulent plant with a beautiful dark color. You do not encounter this plant in nature because it originated from a cross between two previously unknown plants.

The Graptopetalum Chocolate produces small compact stems with many fleshy pointed leaves. The new growth of the plant initially has a dark green color. Later the leaves turn a chocolate brown color. This is why this hybrid was given the name Chocolate. The leaves of the Graptopetalum Chocolate turn brown in response to the sun. If this succulent is placed in a place with insufficient direct sunlight, the leaves will remain dark green.

The Graptopetalum Chocolate is an easy bloomer. She usually does this in the spring and early summer. A small flower stem with many bright yellow flowers grows from the head of the succulent plant.
