The Greenovia Diplocycla is a truly unique succulent that you don't often come across. The Greenovia Diplocycla looks a lot like a rose because of its shape. In nature, the Greenovia Diplocycla occurs in the west and east of Tenerife. Here, the Greenovia Diplocycla grows in mountainous areas.

The Greenovia Diplocycla is grey-green in colour. In the summer, light red stripes can appear on the leaves due to the sun. The Greenovia Diplocycla can start to flower. This does not happen often, but when the Greenovia Diplocycla starts to flower, it makes a flower stem from the heart of the plant with lots of small yellow flowers.

When the Greenovia Diplocycla get older they can form all small new plants from the bottom. When these are a few centimeters tall, they can be cut to continue growing on their own roots. You can also leave them on the mother plant. Then they will grow into a whole cluster of these beautifully shaped Greenovia Diplocycla plants.
