The Lithops Lesliei is a beautiful and very variable Lithops plant. The leaves often remain very small for a Lithops. However, the Lithops Lesliei often produces several plants after changing leaves. These Lithops Lesliei plants have the appearance of a population that occurs 45 east of the city of Pieterburg. The leaves have a reddish brown color and an intense fine green-black drawing can be seen on top of the leaves. The flowers of Lithops Lesliei Pieterburg C352 appear in late autumn and winter. The beautiful golden yellow flowers appear from the center of the leaves.

Lithops species bloom in autumn with white or yellow flowers that appear from the stones. Once a year the stones change their leaves. The outer part comes loose and a new plant grows from the middle. The new living stones eventually become larger than the previous ones. So don't be alarmed if the stone suddenly splits open and a new stone comes out. There they grow in sandy soil and are often difficult to find. This is because the Lithops species often largely withdraw into the sand during dry periods, leaving only the top of the two leaves visible.
