Information

The Marlothistella uniondalensis is a nice succulent plant that occurs naturally in the Little Karoo Desert in South Africa. Here the Marlothistella uniondalensis grows on hilly plains in fine gravel/gravelly soil. Often between other low plants.

The Marlothistella uniondalensis produces many elongated dark green leaves. She likes to make many side shoots so that you get beautiful full clusters of this plant. As it ages, this succulent produces a woody caudex stem. Over time, they also formed a thick taproot underground. They can store a lot of water in the caudex and taproot to get through a period of drought.

The Marlothistella uniondalensis loves to bloom. She does this best during a cold winter. Her flowering period is from November to February. Beautiful purple-pink flowers, 3-4 cm in size, then appear between its leaves.
