Peperomia prostrata occurs naturally in a large area in central and southern America. Here Peperomia prostrata grows in tropical forests, often hanging along tree branches. The Peperomia prostrata resembles a succulent plant due to its fleshy leaves, but could use a little more water due to its tropical origin.
